Within Biomesight, access to samples can be granted to practitioners and research projects. Parents or other caregivers can also manage samples on a "family" level. Family accounts can also be used if you are testing ferments, in which case a separate profile needs to be associated with the sample.
To do this, your account needs to be converted to a family account. To convert your account to a family account, toggle the "Family account" option ON - this is found right at the top of the screen when you login and is available only until your account has been converted to a family account. It is not possible to revert back to a normal account, so if you do not see a toggle button and you have access to a dashboard screen with family account management options, you already have a family account.
